Unlike most regular bedding sets, luxury bedding ensembles typically come with a matching bed skirt. An exception is that, sometimes, sets of bedding that have duvets won't include one. Since duvets are intended to have a cover, those who make premier bedding figure that you'll buy a matching bed skirt and duvet cover. There is also the rare bedding set which includes both a duvet cover and skirt. This is becoming more and more common with discount luxury bedding sets. Those more expensive sets are built under the assumption that you're buying their luxurious bedding, and someone else's skirt and duvet cover that will match the room's decor.
Bedding Sets are a very important part of, if not the most important part of a bedroom decor. The bed is the main theme and takes up the majority of space in the room and so some serious thought and attention should be given as to how it is dressed to be categorized as luxurious bedding. The first golden rule is that the bedding sets, whether it is a duvet or a comforters must always match the rest of the decor. If everything is mismatched you won't enjoy spending time in the room at all, and seeing as we spend a good number of hours in there every night/day, this could lead to problems.
Luxury bedding sets will vary greatly when it comes to pillow covers. Often, you will see pillow covers referred to as shams, or even pillow cases. They're all the same thing. Most luxury, and normal bedding sets generally have as many normal pillow covers as are appropriate for the size of the bed that the luxury bed linens are supposed to cover. In addition, they'll often have a rather arbitrary number of coverings for other random cushions, such as throw pillows and neck pillows. If you can match the contents to your actual cushions, then that's great, but don't count on it.
The designer bedding sets are available in different sizes. Starting from the twin size to the Cal king size, there is every possible size that you can buy from the store. If you are purchasing a bed for your kids then it is better to buy a bed of twin or twin XL size. Your kids always like to have it small and cozy and therefore the twin size bed would do fine with them. If your child has more than one sibling then you should choose the twin XL for them. You may also go for other sizes depending on the space of your child's room.
