Most people are often torn between adding a lining to their curtains and leaving things as is. Giving your curtains a lining will protect the material for dirt on the window sill or from an open window. It also acts as means of insulation by keep excessive light and heat out. The flip side to this is that curtains without lining are much easier to manage and can be washed and dried much faster.
Make sure that the curtains you buy for your home complement all the other elements of your home which have been used for interior decoration purposes. If your curtains go well with the walls and furniture of your home then your home will surely exude an irresistible charm. It is also important that you consider curtains made up of which fabric you intend to buy. Heavy fabrics curtains are more effective when it comes to blocking the light which comes from outside and light fabrics curtains are richer aesthetically.
